This is one of the common types of questions in Vietnamese is formed. There are two ways of answering as follows:
1. Có, S + (có) + adj.
“có” is optional. You can use it or don’t need to use it.
Có, tôi (có) mệt.
2. Không, S + không + adj1. S + adj2.
adj1 is the opposite of adj2, or you can use adj2 as a neutral adjective.
Không, tôi không mệt. Tôi khỏe.
